“Ang Sistema ni Propesor Tuko”, is a one-act comedy that tackles head-on the kind of educational system Filipino schoolchildren put up with. A system approved and endorsed by society. A system with obvious flaws that society has decided to close its eyes upon.
It also pokes fun at the plight of public school teachers who earn barely enough to live a decent life. Propesor Tuko, a hard-nosed woman in her thirties, is a teacher by day and a waitress at night. This juggling of two remotely related carreers creates a hilarious mix-up in the classroom.
Directed by Ace Hernandez. Featuring Drat Toledo, Karen Victa, Mimi Bernardo, Willy Quijencio, and Nyla Bumanlag as Propesor Tuko. Production Design by Roxy Liquigan, Lighting by Edwin Tanchangco, Sounds by May Lacar.
